KelIie and Iain asked me to do their elopement photography – and WOW! – they certainly pulled off the impossible! Hotel cancelled, restaurant cancelled and unknown to everyone, Truro Registery Office was to be closed the very next day too! This beautiful quick-thinking couple secured an idyllic house overlooking Newquay Harbour, a private chef to feed them and their dear friends Darren & Jeanette to act as witnesses and guests to their celebrations back at the house.
We met at Little Fistral car park soon after their ceremony. The sun had its hat on and the beach looked stunning! The bridal party also looked fabulous! Chester, Frazer and Bruno. 2 shihtzus and a bull dog with their colourful bowties and dapper ‘dogfits’. So there were no excuses for me the elopement photographer!
Once we had finished up at the beach, we returned to Sea View House and were greeted by delicious aromas coming from Jacobs cooking. The table was beautifully decorated by Kellie in preperation for their celebratory first breakfast.
I can’t think of a better way to self isolate – celebrate amongst great friends, a beautiful house overlooking the ocean to stay in, eating fantastic food prepared and cooked by the head chef at Harbour view Falmouth and the first break of fantastic weather to welcome in the Spring.
